Its sympathetic conversion from two Grand Houses into a hotel in the 1950s has ensured that each and every room is slightly different. All rooms are en suite and there is a choice of singles, twins, doubles or a family room. Barrow is located on the south western coast of the beautiful English Lake District on the Furness Peninsular and has beautiful, unspoilt beaches, imposing Victorian buildings, the beautiful and tranquil Furness Abbey and an Award winning 42 acre park a 5 minute stroll from the hotel if you want to unwind in the evening. English Leave the M6 at Junction 36 and follow signs for Barrow (approx 33 Miles) . Pass through Ulverston and after approx. 4 miles you will encounter a Roundabout, at the start of Dalton Bypass take the 2 nd exit, continue for mile, at 2nd roudabout, take 2nd exit straight across , after a further mile their is another roundabout, take 1st Exit signposted to the Hospital. .After Approx mile take 2 nd Exit at the Mini Roundabout . You are now on the old Main Road , after 1 mile you will come to a set of Traffic Lights (Two Garages , a Church and a Pub) turn Left at the Strawberry Pub and go down the hill approx 300 yards turn Right at the Farmers Arms Pub and we are 50 yards up on the right hand side.
